All this time I thought they were fake, and only in that one Scooby Doo movie (the vampire band one). BUT NO. THEY EXIST.
Now I can play keyboard/keytar, sing, and dance around like a rockstar, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. LIFE = COMPLETE.

Okay, let me do some explaining...
You see, when I get older, I want to be in a band. However, the only instruments I play are viola and piano. I also sing. I love piano, and it's quite easy to play piano and sing at the same time, but I want to jump around and stuff like Gerard Way and Jimmy Urine (some role models IK). I thought I'd have to choose between the two, at least when we would play live. But then, as I was googling Cobra Starship, I noticed one of the members was a "keytarist." I couldn't believe it, the instrument I'd been searching for actually exists. Now, I know piano, keyboard, and keytar are all different, but a keytar is the closest thing to a mobile piano that exists (and, I think, the only thing POSSIBLE). Those suckers are expensive though, and I don't want one until I go to college or something. :U
Oh, and happy New Year's Eve! Man, I can't believe 2011 is already over! Just like 2008, it went by in a flash. @_@

So MCR Split Up
I don't know how I feel about that. I'm kinda neutral, but sad all the same. They are my favorite band. I was really looking forward to MCR5 and perhaps seeing them at a concert. I was looking forward to meeting Ray, Gerard, Mikey, and Frank, even if it was just for a picture. They changed my life drastically. (And not in the "oh I was suicidal/self harming/etc." way most of the MCRmy claims.) They turned my musical taste into what it is now. I will miss them all dearly. While I wouldn't consider myself a member of the Black Parade, a Killjoy, and sure as hell not a part of the MCRmy (the fan base is why so many people hate MCR), My Chemical
I'm Just One Obsession After the Other
I live on obsession. I can't seem to escape that. First it was anime, then BJDs, then LDDs, and it is now Homestuck and Lolita. ^^;
Homestuck is something I tried many times to read, but the beginning is so long and boring I gave up every time. But about a month ago, I went in like a bull in a chna shop and crushed it. It took me about a week to catch up on everything completely, but I am now caught up and obsessed with the web-comic. I love the characters, and the plot is very interesting and Hussie has planted so many well plotted foreshadowings and red herrings it's amazing he's a human. My favorite beta kids are Rose and Dave, my favorit
Electroswing (My New Obsession)
Wow been a while since I journalled hasn't it? Haha I'm not very active around dA anymore (mostly because I haven't been very productive...).
But anyways, I found this AWESOME group via Tumblr (where I find most awesome things) called Caravan Palace. I'll admit it wasn't their music that lured me in, but the stunning animation for the music video of their song Rock It For Me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBGSJ3sbivI). When I saw the GIFset on Tumblr I thought it would be a short film, but I was pleasantly surprised with the great music!
